Hello,
When I am logged in a registered user, clicking ‘Log Out’ or ‘Sign Out’ attempts to log out of WordPress, not the website. It then sends me to the homepage, but when I navigate to ‘My Account’ I am still logged in.
Is there an easy fix for this or an article I can refer to? I could not find this by searching the support forum.

Your login credentials are incorrect. Could you please reset the password?
Also when you are logged out try to clear browser cache and check My Account page then.
Are you using any cache plugins for your site?

Please update the theme to the latest version and Woocommerce as well.
Before update delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/royal/ and it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package.
Also update all required plugins https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ .
Don’t forget to create back up of your files and database before starting update process!
(it’s for Legenda theme but the process is the same).

I have done a backup and followed the instructions to update the theme, WooCommerce, as well as plugins.
Unfortunately, this has made the My Account page not function or appear.

Also, it has added a green background to my shopping bag icon in the “Cart”. The green background needs to be transparent or white. Please add this to the fix. Thank you.
So, Still outstanding is the My Account page not functioning (again), and the Log Out function not working still.

Additionally, after I have done all the suggested updates, it has caused further issues:
1. Single-product view ‘Tabs’ for additional information (Description, Additional Information, Returns & Delivery) are not functioning.

The same issue persists with default WordPress theme (activate Twenty Fifteen theme and check it). Try to update WordPress to the latest version. Also refer to this topic:

I’ve checked tabs on single product page and they are working fine.
Please clear browser cache and check again.

Thank you, the tabs are working fine as you noted.
The only outstanding issue is the My Account page not appearing or loading after logging out.
Will an update to the latest WordPress version fix this?

‘My account’ page is available for registered users. We have checked your site and it is showing normally after successful user log in.
We have logged in, logged out and logged in once more to check ‘My account’ page and it is displayed correct for registered user.
