Lost Password not working; endless loop and not able for user to reset successfully

    Running into an issue with “Lost Password”. Emails are being sent to users asking for password reset, but instead of taking them to the password input screen, they are being directed to the my-account page without providing the ability to put in updated password. If I go through the dashboard and send a reset password manually – this process works.

    Is there something buggy that is happening with the email builder to allow the user to update password without further involvement?

    Please check how it works when our Email Builder is disabled.

    Record a video for a better understanding. Upload it on a filesharing service, for example – https://wetransfer.com/ , and provide us with URL.

    Rose – providing the video to help better understand the “loop”. I was thinking it might be just the user and his email address (so I deleted him and created a new account); however, it will not route to the default /my-account/lost-password/?show-reset-form=true&action path.

    I suspect it is associated with the email builder but it is associated with the right email type “Reset password”

    Maybe you can test by trying to reset the admin account I have created for 8Theme.
