Hi there,
I’m having an issue with the Woocommerce variable product attributes.
As you can see in this screenshot, we have a lot of custom options for a single product, which results in hundreds, or even thousands of “variations”

Actually, I’m worried about this could make the website loading very slow, and I’m afraid it does.
Question:
1. Is it possible that we can set these attributes as options without creating these much variations? 2. And simply set the price as — product basic price + attribute(custom option) price, —-rather than set price for variations?
3. Can you pls have a check of the website loading speed of the product demo page, and see if it is do loading very slow on your end? (URL is attached in the private section)
Do you have any good suggestions on how to make it easier and clearer?
Looking forward to your reply!
Thanks and Regards
Graham
Hello,
1), 2) If you don’t plan to set different price/image depending on every variation you can make it without detailing, for example http://prntscr.com/j7sq7j But if you plan to change the price depending on one attribute, size for example then you need to create the variation for every size http://prntscr.com/j7sr02
In case every attribute with combinations will have different prices then you need to create them all. You may also post your question on WooCommerce support forum and ask developers, maybe they will suggest you some better solution. This option is not theme option, so we provide only general consultation about this.
3) Your site is very slow even with the default WP theme (8s) https://gtmetrix.com/reports/honeysexdoll.com/z6N1fP0a , with our theme (8.4s) https://gtmetrix.com/reports/honeysexdoll.com/2o0cYbqO
I think you need to contact your hosting provider first to speed up all the moment related to the server. After that use cache plugin, disable all the plugins that you don’t use and optimize images.

Thank you very much!
This suggestion is very helpful, as I thought I’d have to create all the variations in order to have them appeared and selectable on the product page.
By what you advised, I will only have to create those paid options and disable the stock in Woocommerce settings.
Tested and worked perfectly now.
Thanks again for your time and patience!
