    Hello,

I notice that the thumbnails (products list) are of lower quality than the original images. The thumbnails are automatically generated so I wonder how can I have a better thumbnails quality?

I can see difference between a thumbnail (products list) and product picture on “preview product picture” or product image.

Did I miss a parameter ? How can this be improved ?

    Thanks,
    Regards.

    Hello, @Blade,

Unfortunately, there is no such option by default, WooCommerce takes source images and generates product image sizes, and thumbnail sizes. Please read more about automatic thumbnail resizing here – https://woocommerce.wordpress.com/2017/12/11/wc-3-3-image-size-improvements/ and https://woocommerce.com/document/image-sizes-theme-developers/

    Regards 8Themes Team.

    Hello,

Also, about size of product images read here – https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/woocommerce/product-images/
    https://woocommerce.com/document/fixing-blurry-product-images/
It is recommended to use a graphics editor and prepare product images (make them the same size) before uploading images to your media gallery.
Also, it would be better to disable “Stretch product images option” option via Theme Options and re-upload images that are “too small” in large resolution.

    Regards

    Hello,

    Thanks for the answer.

This link is clearer and the “Stretch product images option” should help too.

    Thanks,
    Regards.
