I am looking to connect my main top bar menu (which I created) with the side bar menu (created by WooCommerce when I uploaded products). The top bar menu I created exactly as the product categories were set up, but when I put the link (from WooCommerce category product page) in to my menu item, it does not direct to the correct page.

I was hoping that I can just delete my menu I created and have the woocommerce menu on the top menu bar as well.

I have been testing this on the “electrical” page of my website. I will include those links in the private section. I also tried to take out the link on the menu I created thinking it may automatically connect to woocommerce, but no luck.

    Please, contact administrator

    Hello,

You can enable “Product Categories” in Screen Options in Appearance > Menus http://storage7.static.itmages.com/i/17/0121/h_1484993228_6823231_e254cba4e7.jpeg and add categories to your menu instead of writing custom links.

    Ok great!

I enabled the product categories…should I disable the custom links? or do I need to deactivate my main menu?? If so, how do I deactivate it without deleting the whole thing….or is that my only option??

    Thanks for your help!

Thanks! I got it! I created a new menu with the product categories! PERFECT!!! Thanks so much!

One thing about the menu, is there anyway to edit the menu itself…as far a design goes? I feel that the left side bar menu doesn’t flow very well. It is kind of confusing with the different sub categories.

I would like to have a nice, neat looking menu, with clear subcategories….how would I edit and design the menus differently? Maybe even adding some color to certain areas of the menu to help distinguish between main categories and subcategories.

    Hello,

The design can be changed with css code.
Please clarify what exactly you want to edit.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.
