Media Thumbnails not showing properly - by lcgwmarketing

Hello,

In my site’s Dashboard, the media image thumbnails only show a placeholder and not the thumbnail of the image. This is also happening in the WooCommerce Products listing page and detailed pages. The front end of the site all images show fine, it’s just the backend of the site. This has been happening for over a month and I thought it might be an updated needed along the way, but each update does not work.

I have disabled all the plugins and it still happens. I regenerated the thumbnails and it continues to happen.

I have changed the size of the images to be landscape instead of horizontal as our products are mostly long and not tall. The thumbnail sizes I use are:

450×236
555×324
149×87

The site worked when I first set it up, but about a month ago it started showing the placeholder in place of the actual thumbnails in both WooCommerce and the Media folder.

Can you give me direction on how to fix this issue?

Please provide us with direct pages where you have issues and give is FTP/wp-admin panel credentials in Private Content.

Hello,

The problem was caused by https configuration.
You installed SSl certificate but didn’t change url in wp admin panel > Settings > General Setings > WordPress Address (URL), and Site Address (URL). I’ve changed http to https in these fields and images are shown now.
Clear browser cache and check.
