Hi, I cloned the current page and changed the name to publish it as a new page, but after cloning and publishing, when I view the page, it shows a ‘404 Not Found’ error. This is the page – https://toyako.co/academy/. Additionally, the preview cannot be reloaded when I try to edit it. I need help checking and resolving this issue. Thank you!

    Please, contact administrator

    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We understand that you are encountering a ‘404 Not Found’ error after cloning and publishing a new page, as well as issues with the preview not reloading during editing.

Could you kindly check if the issue persists when using a default theme, such as Storefront? We believe that the issue may not be directly related to our theme.

    Best Regards,
    8Theme’s Team

    Hello,

We hope this message finds you well.

Could you kindly confirm if you have completed the test we previously requested? As the support team for the theme, we are able to assist with issues directly related to the theme itself.

It appears that you used a third-party plugin for cloning purposes. Based on the currently active plugins on your site, it seems that the plugin in question is “Yoast Duplicate Post.” Therefore, it would be most appropriate for you to reach out to the support team for that specific plugin.

    Best Regards,

Hi, I tried the test on the default theme, and everything worked well. However, when I switched back to the XStore theme and tried to clone and publish the pages again, they showed a “404 Not Found” error when viewed.

I have another website using the XStore theme and the “Yoast Duplicate Post” plugin, and it doesn’t show this error.

Does your side have its own duplicate plugin? We use this plugin because it’s convenient for copying the original page and modifying the content.

    Hello,

    We appreciate your prompt response.

Have you contacted the support of the plugin?

We would like to inform you that Elementor provides the functionality to save page content as a template, which can then be imported as needed. This eliminates the need for additional plugins for duplicating content. For more information, please refer to the following link: https://elementor.com/help/template-library/

Please note that we do not give a guarantee for full theme compatibility with all existing 3rd party plugins, and we can not provide support for such plugins. Sometimes, but not always, you need additionally customize the theme or plugin to make them work together. Unfortunately, it’s not possible for the author to make the theme compatible with all the existing plugins and additional customization is outside the scope of our basic support.

    Best Regards,
