    Hi,

I’ve tried adding the mega menu with the CSS classes, but it’s not working.
I have already read the documentation, but it doesn’t work. Could you check it for me?

    Hello,

You should also add class menu-column1 (change number to how many columns you want to use). It is written in the documentation:

To create full width menu you need add special CSS Classes combination to the first level. At first you need to specify the main class menu-full-width and then the additional one, that will set the quantity of the columns in your menu from menu-column1 to menu-column5

    https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/royal/assets/images/image_21.png

Please edit your menu and check after that.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hi Eva,
As I said, I already tried that because I read the documentation.
    I tried menu-full-width menu-column1 to 5, but that doesn’t work.
It is changing something in my menu, because the font is changing, but not the full width.

    Hello,

As you set menu-column1 class only one column will be shown, so I’ve changed it to menu-column4 for the category “Musthaves”. Clear browser cache and check “Musthaves” drop down menu now. You will see 4 columns.

    Thanks for the help.

Is it possible to use an image for every column? So instead of four menu items have four images?
Also, are there special image dimensions for the images in the menu? My images are all too big.

    Hello,

You can only add background image for drop down menu as described in the documentation in paragraph “7.3 Menu images”.
On our demo we use dimensions 274px × 342px for menu background images.

    Hello,

I have added the necessary text to the css class on the Shop menu tab but it still does not appear to work. Also, there is no way for me to add the image even though I have indicated “with-image”. Please have a look to see what is the problem. Thanks!

    Hello @ElitaSharpe,

Your site and dashboard are missing styles:

    Please check this issue.

    Hello @ElitaSharpe,

As you’re using Legenda theme, css classes for mega menu differs from Royal theme.
    Please read the documentation attentively:

    Hello,

I am attempting to upload a background image to a mega menu that is using classes “menu-full-width menu-column2 with-image” but the image is not saving. I am able to upload the image to the media library, select it, and click “set featured image” but when returning to the menu screen, there is no preview of the selected image and saving the menu changes does not link the image either. Please advise.

    Thank you.
