Mega Menu not working properly - by zaza13

    Hello Team,
    My mega menu has stopped working properly since several days. Before that everything was fine.

    Issue 1 – I can’t change the mega menu items design anymore – https://prnt.sc/mymach
    If I change it nothing happens. It just doesn’t save the settings anymore.
    3 of the mega menu buttons had design set to “Mega menu”. Now 2 of them continue to have this design and only one of the buttons (called Parfémy) have design set to “design”.
    I can’t change it back to “Mega menu” anymore. I tried to create new items and remove the old but whatever item I place the design cannot be changed.

    Issue 2 – The view of the mega menu has changed in the Edge/IE browser only. Now the menu looks like this in Edge – https://prnt.sc/mymcer
    In the rest browsers (Chrome, Mozilla etc) it looks like this – https://prnt.sc/mymcrg
    I tried through Edge in several different PCs and the result is the same. Before that the vew in Edge was also fine. Your demo theme (https://www.8theme.com/demo/legenda3/) looks normal in Edge so I assume the issue is on my side and not local.

    The only recent changes on the site was the steps mentioned in this topic – https://www.8theme.com/topic/upload-products-from-csv-files/ and wordpress upgrade to version 4.9.10.

    Can you please check and advise how to sort this out?

    Hello,

    Very likely you reached the Max Input Vars limit because of menu items number and your WP can’t save all the settings of your menu. So, if you choose the option, save menu but then you’ll see that option is not saved then increase max input vars limit to 5000 or 8000. You can contact the hosting provider and ask for help with increasing. Read more http://sevenspark.com/wordpress/menu-item-limit

    Hi Rose, Team,
    The max_input_vars in the php.ini have been set to 8000 (tried with 3000 as well).
    The server was several times restarted and I made sure the configuration in the php.ini is stored correctly.
    I am still not able to save the configured menu 🙁
    Do you have other suggestions?

    Sorry but seems it was not changed as we can see from the WC status page http://prntscr.com/n0x5a7

    Contact your hosting provider to make sure that this value was increased in the right way.

    Hi Team,
    As usual you was right 🙂 – I forgot to “uncomment” the line in the php.ini.
    Ok, so this solved the issue 1 but unfortunately the issue 2 still persists.
    Do you have any suggestions how to sort this out?

    Please add this code in style.css of child-theme:

    .header-type-5 .main-nav .menu > li li, .header-type-6 .main-nav .menu > li li, .header-type-7 .main-nav .menu > li li, .header-type-1 .main-nav .menu > li li {
        text-align: left;
    }
