If client has been using parent theme for some time, is there a simple way to migrate to child theme without the need to set menu settings etc all over again?

    Thank You

    Hello,

Yes. You will need just to import theme options. So, before switching go to Theme Options > Import/Export > download export file. After that enable child theme and go to Theme Options > Import/Export > import file and reload page without saving. Save options only after the reloading. That’s all.

    Regards
