My mini cart will not update correctly when using any caching plugin. When you add an item, it initially shows correctly, but if you navigate to any other page, it show zero again. Sometimes it even removes items from the cart or adds random items.I have verified that it is a caching issue by adding /?nocache to the end of the url. Is there a way to get around this?

    Hello, Teralt2003,

Thank you for contacting us and for using XStore.

Please try to activate “Always Load “Wc-Cart-Fragments”” via Theme Options > Speed Optimization.

If this doesn’t help, please provide temporary wp-admin access to your site, so we can take a closer look.

Thank you for your cooperation and we look forward to hearing from you soon.

    Kind Regards,
    8theme team

Always load cart fragments did not change the behavior. I have added info for admin access in private content.

    Hello, Teralt2003,

    Thank you for your response.

We’ve enabled “Always Load “Wc-Cart-Fragments”” and the Cart work fine right now https://prnt.sc/OnplBmKOr9VO , with LiteSpeed Cache plugin activated.
Please clear the cache of your browser and check one more time.

    Kind Regards,
    8theme team

The cart is still not updating in any browser. I’ve tried several different browsers with the cache cleared and it still does not work. It is showing 2 items in the mini cart in a browser that I have never used before and then when you actually go to the cart it shows that it is empty.

I’m assuming you don’t have an actual fix for this and that I’ll have to switch to a different theme. Very disappointing considering that I had to buy this theme.

    Hello, Teralt2003,

    Thank you for your response.
You mentioned that the problem occurs after cache plugin activation, and the theme works fine without it. Other of our customers use cache plugins and did not send reports about such problems.
Have you tried to contact support of cache plugin you are using? Please do this, and let us know their answer (probably one of the plugin options needs to be disabled to solve this, if they reply that changes should be done from our theme side we also need to know it).
Thank you for your cooperation and we look forward to hearing from you soon.

I’ve contacted litespeed cache. The only solution they had for it to work with your theme is for me to disable caching the cart cookies as a last resort. If I do that, the minute someone adds something to cart it doesn’t cache the pages anymore and that isn’t acceptable.

    Hello, Teralt2003,

    Thank you for your response.

We have noticed that another theme has been activated on your website, so we are unable to investigate the issue with our theme there.

Please try to test how it works with the default WooCommerce theme – Storefront activated on your site.
    Let us know the result.

    Kind Regards,

Yes, I’ve activated a different theme because I have to have a working site to maintain credibility with my customers. Trying the storefront theme was the first thing I tried to confirm that it was an incompatibility between your theme and lightspeed cache. The cart works as expected using the storefront theme with lightspeed cache activated.

    Hello, Teralt2003,

    Thank you for your response.

In this instance, there are three options to choose from:
1/ You can create a staging site (full copy of the live one), where the problem is visible, and provide us with temporary wp-admin and FTP access.
2/ Activate our theme on your current site and let us know, so we can start works there.
3/ Do not use that cache plugin with our theme on the mentioned site.

If you have any other questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. Our support team is always available to assist you.

    Kind Regards,

Not using the caching plugin is not a viable option. I have created a staging site and created an admin user. Information is in the private content area.

    Hello, Teralt2003,

    Thank you for your response.

We can see a critical error on the Cart page – https://prnt.sc/cAmahivB1vBr

Please provide FTP access, so our devs can check the situation more deeply.
To create FTP access, please contact your hosting provider for assistance.

I do not see any critical error when I go to the cart page and it doesn’t look like that either. Can you check again?

    Hello, Teralt2003,

We’ve checked the Cart page and it works fine.

From the Dashboard on your site, we can’t check WooCommerce > Status > Logs, so FTP access is needed still to enable debug mode and to check files.

We asked you about FTP access at the same time with the staging site – https://gyazo.com/974423709da979663c901f725eb55942 If you really need assistance please reply to us with access.

    Kind Regards,
