Hello
I’m trying to setup fonts for custom Visual Builder headings on my pages, but the Google fonts I want to use are missing.
In the 8theme options I’ve found and using the Google font Changa One – But when editing the page headings it is not available.
I’ve attached screenshots to show the problem.
Hello,
The setting you are seeing at the 8theme options is for our theme texts. That will not affect the VC.
Visual Composer is a third party plugin and you have to do custom / setup desperately for that.
Since it is a third party plugin you should check with their support.
Anyhow, I’ll discuss this with my team and update you again if there is any way to do this.
Hello
It seems you as a developer has to manage the list of google fonts as described in their documentation for developers.
https://wpbakery.atlassian.net/wiki/display/VC/How+to+Manage+List+of+Google+Fonts
I can’t contact Visual Composer support since this is a plugin bundled with a theme.
So I have to pay for the plugin to get help, which doesn’t seem right, since I’ve bought the theme with you and I’m trying to edit a basic thing like a font change.
There isn’t much customization to be done if I’m forced to use the fonts you’ve selected for the templates bundled with XStore.
Can you please give an update on this issue asap?
Hello,
You can add additional Google font by changing et_rewrite_vc_google_font function (xstore/framework/vc.php, line 290). Copy this function into child theme and change according to your needs.
Regards
Thank you very much Olga.
I’ll try this one out asap.
You are welcome!
Regards
