    Hello,

Need help with my Xstore site and having issues with the slider after updating the theme.

Currently using the Animals Demo Shop theme and the front page no longer has the images for the slider. The text is there but seems my Animal Demo 0 through Animal Demo5 are missing when I go to the slider to edit.

How can I reinstall the Animals Demo Slider?
    or
How to completely reinstall my Animal Demo Shop Template?

Where should they be located on the file directory?

    Please, contact administrator
    for this information.

    Hello,

XStore import files archive you can download from this page – https://www.8theme.com/downloads/
Also, the Animals demo version uses elements of Massive Addons for WPBakery Page Builder plugin, so you need to activate this plugin or edit Home page and remove some of elements.
Let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Regards

    Hi Rose,

I activated the Massive Addons for WPBakery

Next installed the Xstore import files and received these errors.

    Unpacking the package…

    Installing the plugin…

The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.

    Plugin installation failed.

    Hello,

Next installed the Xstore import files

How did you install import files if this is not the plugin, this is archive with folders inside that includes XML files, slider.zip, options.dat to import every additional version manually https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-installation/demo-content/ if one-click installation (Theme Options > Import demos) does not work for somebody?

    Regards

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I see now that I did not do this import correctly. I understood to
download the Xstore import and apply it as a plugin from this link you showed me (https://www.8theme.com/downloads/) and thought this is how to get the themes slider demo files running. I was wrong in that understanding.

Now have reviewed your link about Xstore help docs and have done the import correctly.
The Default Demo Import is now running on the site. I want to use the Animal Demo import and have also imported these, it now also shows “Animal” Demo “Imported”.

However when I click on the “Activate” button for the “Animal” Demo, it does not change and seems to be an error. The default is still showing on the website.

How to remove the Default Demo and only apply the “Animal” Demo import files?

Thanks again for your help and setting me on the right path.

    Regards
    Bill

    Hi,

Thank you so much for your help and fixing the issue.
Was the issue something I incorrectly installed?

    Hello,

We just manually imported uninstalled elements. I am not sure why it was not installed correctly from the first time (we don’t have such problem with the demo content on our test site).
Additional pages of any version can be imported from here – http://prntscr.com/phtzou
WordPress 5.x use Gutenberg as a default editor. We would recommend to disable the Gutenberg editor and use WPBakery page builder as the page editor because it’s more advanced – http://prntscr.com/phu0ut
Is there anything else I can help you with?

    Regards
