Every time I update xstore it messes up my translations in the cart and checkout. On every website. I always fix them manually, but sometimes I can’t find the strings. Like now.

I’m using loco translate, (xcore plugin and xstore theme), I sync the translations but strings are not found.

    What can I do here?

    Hello,

    We appreciate your prompt response.

Translation files for themes should be placed in /wp-content/languages/themes/ folder,
for plugins, like Core plugin, in /wp-content/languages/plugins folder (this is the System location), with correct names, for example, for XStore theme: xstore-sl_SI.po, and xstore-core-sl_SI.po for XStore Core plugin, then you will not lose translation after the update.

To translate the currently untranslated strings, it seems that the .pot files may need to be regenerated. For this, we kindly request FTP access from you.

    Best Regards,
    8Theme’s Team

    Hello,

The most convenient option for us would be if you could kindly request your hosting provider to create FTP access for our team.
We require the following details: FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, and FTP encryption type.

    Best regards,
    8Theme Team
