Hi, Since I updated to the latest version of Royal 3.0.1 I seem to have lost a few translations. I have sv_SE.po/sv_SE.mo (in /public_html/wp-content/themes/royal/languages) but they are older than the default.po/mo. Is that why the translations do not show? What is the best way to solve this?
The missing translations are:
On cart page – “Update cart” and “Apply Coupon”
On checkout page – “Billing details” and “Create an account by entering the information below. If you are returning customer please login at the top of the page.” (I have currently disabled create accound at checkout to hide this text).
Also on the checkout page there is a line straight through the phone field and the email field. Why is that? Also, these fields can only be reached with tab, not by clicking on them (not good…).
Appreciate your help!
Thanks
Linda
Hello,
Open your translation file in PoEdit, then go to Catalogue > Update from POT file http://prntscr.com/exrg76 > select Royal.pot file from the latest theme package in languages directory > check the translation of needed phrases, save the file and re-upload it to your server.
Also on the checkout page there is a line straight through the phone field and the email field. Why is that? Also, these fields can only be reached with tab, not by clicking on them (not good…).
Could you please show the issue on the screenshot you are talking about?

Jack Richardson.
Hi Jack
Thank you, this solved it for 1 string (“Search for…”, which I forgot to mention earlier).
It did however not solve it for the text mentioned before, the translation is there in the .po but it doesn’t show. I have cleaned cache so it’s not that. Could you please look at it? Links to files in private content.
Update cart
Apply coupon
Billing details
Create an account by entering the information below. If you are returning customer please login at the top of the page.
The problem with the line across the check out fields has been resolved. Rose Tyler helped me.
Kind regards
Linda

Please check translation now.

Hi Rose
Thank you, almost everything is fine now!:)
The one thing that’s not changed is the account text in check out:
“Create an account by entering the information below. If you are a returning customer please login at the top of the page.”
Print screen: https://www.dropbox.com/s/xurkzrehgx41qzr/CreateAnAccount.JPG?dl=0
I’ve had to disable this option because it looks so strange, but I would like to enable it again if possible.
Thanks
Linda
I forgot, I also wanted to ask if it is possible to rearrange the order of the checkout fields.
I would like to have Country after City. I have tried to do it with WooEnhancer but I suspect that the theme might be overriding it. Might be wrong.
Hello,
Please check the translation.
if it is possible to rearrange the order of the checkout fields
Your query requires additional customization which is beyond our basic support scope. If you need help with additional customization contact WP-Kraken team.

Hi
The account text is still in English, also the other translations that you took care of before has changed back to English. Maybe it happened when I installed the latest version of the theme?
What do I need to do to change the translations?
(Btw, the country field is now where it should be again so maybe it was solved in the latest woocommerce version.)
Kind regards
Linda
Hello,
Please find these strings in theme files and change, for example, http://prntscr.com/f5ef23 'woocommerce'
to ETHEME_DOMAIN
.
This translation problem will be fixed in a new theme update.

Rose Tyler.
Thanks!
