The navigation in mobile view is displaying odd. I defaulted to the parent theme and removed custom CSS and the problem persists. The small “+” icons are missing, some text is being cutoff (e.g. ENLIST) and there is a lot of padding on the right of each menu item.

new problem. i am using wpengine so there’s a live and a staging version. i’m not going to update the theme on live, i need to test things on the stage/development site first. after uploading the latest template files two things happened: 1) even though i am using a child theme, most of my settings have been wiped out and 2) i need to use my purchase code which the info clearly states that only one can be used.

I’m glad i didn’t simply install on the live site b/c there could have been all sorts of problems.

if i activate this theme on my staging/development site will it deactivate the live site?

    Hello @dusza

    1) Theme options store all settings of color adjustments, logo etc that has been overwritten during update and it is caused wrong setings to links and images. They can be imported from your main site. Please use import settings for theme options – import/export: http://prntscr.com/f9npsp.
    2) You may use license code twice. One for main production site and second for testing and construction.

    Hello,

You need to create the mobile menu (Appearance > Menus) with more simple structure and set Display location > Mobile menu.

    Regards,
    Rose Tyler.

Rose, this only partially worked. If I don’t use nested/child submenus everything displays OK however as soon as I add a submenu things get funky. I went through the docs and there are custom CSS classes for menus however I didn’t see any for submenus. http://ironarmy.staging.wpengine.com/

    Hello,

Please update theme to the latest version 3.2 https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/legenda/#!/installation_upgrade (Theme Upgrade) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KdWESIIPU1k&feature=youtu.be
Theme version 3.2 is available on ThemeForest (log in with your Envato account credentials and free download the latest version in Downloads section).
Before uploading theme files delete “woocommerce” folder, which is located in wp-content/themes/woopress/ to avoid problems with old files.
Don’t forget to create backup of your files and database before starting update process!
You need to enter your purchase code to activate our new theme version and skip Setup Wizard.

Also, update all required plugins https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/.

Rose, I deleted the existing files on the server and re-uploaded. Now version 3.2 is installed. The plugin (child theme) has also been uploaded and is the active theme. The problem persists.

    Hello,

You need also update your plugins (https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/page/2/), connect to your server using FTP and copy extracted plugins folders into wp-content/plugins/ with overwrite.

Rose, this conversation keeps going in circles. Are you able to log in? I updated applicable plugins. Note, some plugins are disabled such as Streets Live Chat. A plugin also shouldn’t be interfering with the navigation menu but I understand it’s protocol to always have things updated. Regardless of the latest version or not, your Dark Theme shows the mobile nav. menu working with sub menus … this is what’s not working on my site.

I’ve added some css code in your style.css of the child theme.
    Please check mobile menu now.

Thanks Rose. That fixed things. Oddly this CSS was included in the parent theme style sheet for for some reason wasn’t getting picked up on the child theme which didn’t have any existing CSS to override the parent theme CSS. Thanks again!
