I am using the Jewellery theme. I like how the Single Product page looks, as well as the Product Archive page. But I want to add or move a few things around.

    1) How can I modify the layout / elements of either of those pages WITHOUT starting over by creating a new Single Product Page template, or Product Archive page template?

Xstore Builders offers me the option to edit “via Elementor” or “via Customizer” — but when selecting EITHER choice, I am required to create a brand new template. I don’t want to make a new template … I like the one I see. I just want to move some of the elements around, or add some more fields to display. For example, how do I hide the “tags” on the Single Product Page?

    2) Along the same lines as above: How do I add new elements to the page? For example, I want to add more filters to the Product Archive page for the EXISTING Jewellery theme? I don’t want to build a new Product Archive template from scratch. I just want to edit the one I have and add a few more product filters.

    3) And on the Product Archive page, how to I edit/delete the text that appears just below all the product photos: “Do you have any question? Call: (555) 343 458” and “Get coupon for 15% off when you spend over $100”

    Thank you.

    Hello, Tom,

Thank you for reaching out to us with your queries regarding the Jewellery theme. We’re glad to hear that you like the current layout and just want to make a few adjustments. Let’s address your concerns one by one.

Next time please post different questions via separate topics on the support forum.

1/ Regarding your query about the current layouts, they were created without the use of builders. Therefore, you can use custom CSS code to move / hide some elements.
    https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/additional-customisation/optimal-placement-for-custom-css-code/
Additionally, read this article to customize the single product page – https://www.businessbloomer.com/woocommerce-visual-hook-guide-single-product-page/

We’ve added a new template for you in XStore Builders > Single Product vis Elementor. Please check it https://prnt.sc/d50TZmqEl-hQ and apply it to all products https://prnt.sc/wio0ixjYzBgq

2/ Appearance > Widgets > add filters in the Shop sidebar or Shop filters.
Enable the sidebar via Theme Options > WooCommerce (Shop) > Shop > Shop page layout > Sidebar position.

3/ Appearance > Widgets > After the products area > remove or edit static block.

If you encounter any difficulties or need further assistance with specific steps, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are here to help ensure your website looks exactly the way you want it to.

Thank you for your helpful tips and advice.

One additional question that relates to question #2:

Which widget should I use to allow filter by attributes, and have the filter displayed as a DROP-DOWN MENU?

For example, “8theme – Filter Products by Categories” allows me to filter by Categories, where it will display a drop down list of all the categories available.

I have multiple attributes that I need to filter by — for example, filter by product length (10 inches, 12 inches, 14 inches… ).

I’ve tried using “8theme – Swatches filter” and selected the relevant Product Length attribute to filter. But when viewing the Product Archive page, the filter options appear as circle icons or text in boxes, or a long list of check boxes. The list becomes very long since there are many product lengths, and this needs to be a drop down menu instead.

Should I be using a different widget so that the attributes become a drop-down menu? Or is there something else I can do?

    Thank you.

See attached screenshot of the “Product Length” attribute filter that should be changed to a drop down menu

I think I’ve been able to setup the widgets for the shop archive as you instructed. Thank you.

But when I view the shop archive page, the default toolbar will filter to show “12” items per page. But I only see 8 items before I need to click to go to page “2.” There are a total of 15 items in the shop.

    1) How can I fix the filter drop down to say “Show 8” if 8 is shown by default?

    2) And how can I fix so that if the default is set to 12, please have it show 12 items?

    Thank you.
