Hello. I’m using your footer “variant 13”. How do I go about modifying it without knowing a ton of html? Is there is a WYSIWYG style of editor somewhere to use?
Or maybe create a new footer as a “page”, use VC to build it, then somehow convert it to a static page? That ultimately is what I’d like to do. Just don’t know how.
Thanks
Hello,
As I see you have only footer variant 8 in Static Blocks section. Please check it.
If you want to import other footer variant you need import footer file from theme package > “XML Files” folder > “Footer Variants” folder. Next, go to Tools > Import > WordPress > upload chosen xml file, press “Upload File and import”. Check “Download and import file attachments” and press Submit button.
The footer block will appear in Static Blocks section. You need add Static Block widget into “Footer” area in Appearance > Widgets.

Hi, I got a question…
Where do you even select the footer variant you want?
If it’s at 8themes options > general settings like with the header, then I definitely do not have that option.
I have the latest theme version installed.
U have tried looking for it all over the place but just can’t seem to find it.
Hello,
You need add “8theme – Static Block” widget to Footer area in Appearance > Widgets and select your footer block from the dropdown menu in the widget settings.

Jack Richardson.
