Hi,
I have a problem with woopress as the parent theme and the child theme; It is in Dutch but the child team says that there is no parent theme. I have to install woopress as the parent theme.
Please help!

De volgende thema’s zijn geïnstalleerd, maar incompleet. Thema’s moeten een stylesheet en een template bevatten.

Hello,
I’ve reuploaded the parent theme and now child theme is recognized.
Please check.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
Thanks Eva for your quick responce!
But….if I want to edit languages files with Localization, the child theme is not in the list!
Thx
Regards,
Ron
Hello,
Translation files are loaded from the parent theme, they won’t work in the child theme. So you should translate .po file in the parent theme.
Thank you.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
Eva, I had also an another question:
But….if I want to edit (languages) files with Localization, the child theme is not in the list!
Please help!
Regards,
Ron
Hello,
Languages files can be edited via parent theme only.
You don’t need copy the files in the child theme folder.
Thank you for understanding.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
Hello Eva,
Sorry, no, I do not understand you.
Please tell me why my child theme is not listed??
If I go to my other website with this theme it is listed!
thx
Ron
Hello,
You need to translate parent theme first, because this is main part. I don’t see files in child theme that require translation. How to translate our theme you can read here https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/woopress/index.html#!/1_how_to_translate
Translate only strings you need, you don’t need to translate all the strings included in .po file.
If you want to use CodeStyling Localization just ignore that notice.
