Move Tabs and Related Products on Single Product Page

Hi,

Here is the issue:
On the single product page, the left sidebar pushes the tabs and recent products down to far on the page. I’d like them to be directly below the product, and not be effected by the sidebar. I used the following code, but it is not having the desired effect. Can you help? Code and login details provided. Thanks!

Hello,

As I see, position of the tabs isn’t far from content in single product page. Doesn’t it?

Hi Robert,

After you click a few items, the “Recently Viewed” area in the sidebar starts to populate and pushes everything down. Try it and see how it acts.

Additionally, if I add anything else to the sidebar, it will push it down.

I’d like the Tabs and Related Products to NOT be under the sidebar, but instead, directly under the product.

(I mistyped in the first email, I mean “…the left sidebar pushes the tabs and RELATED products down too far on the page)

Thanks Robert.

Can you take a look at the custom code I was sent to resolve the issue and help tweak it? It really shouldn’t be that much more work. I had it working, but moved hosting providers and it wiped the custom css.

Hi Olga,

First, thanks for the offer to help. I wasn’t sure you would be able to. I will certainly leave positive feedback after this. Here’s what I’m after:

1. The tabs and Related Products are not pushed down by the sidebar on the single product page
2. Responsive, so it works in mobile views
3. Goes back to full width when the sidebar move below the content in mobile view

I also noticed that the “Recently Viewed” widget doesn’t appear in my tablet and mobile view. Is this true?

Robert, much appreciated. This is exactly how I’d expect the single product page to work.

It looks great in desktop, however, can you include a bit of code to make sure that when the width is in phone mode, they go back to 100%? This should be the same width in which the tabs turn into accordion style and the sidebar goes to the bottom.

Thanks Robert. The Related Products slider was still 70% in mobile, so I added this bit and it fixed it up:
@media (max-width: 480px){ .single-product-page .slider-container {width:100%;}}

One last question. Is there a way to make sure that the accordion tabs are always collapsed in mobile? The first tab is open, but I’d prefer them to be closed. Let me know if you want me to open another ticket for this.

Is there a way to do with code? Something along the lines of

.single-product-page .tabs .tab-title:first-child {
closed
}

Something to force the first tab to be closed instead of expanded.
