Multilingual WPML or Translatepress? What can you recommend?

I am considering installing Translatepress or WPML to make my site multilingual.

I noticed that there are a lot of posts in the forum where users have big problems with WPML.

What is the situation? Can I install WPML in the very latest version of XStore without any problems – or would you rather advise against it.

What advice do you give me?

Our latest theme is fully compatible with the latest version of the WPML plugin. The issues you noticed are related to the settings of the plugin, which customers were unable to resolve.
