Multiple header in different languages - by Marta Iraola

Hello,

We developed last year a website with a multiple header which was used in 16 pages (using the “add condition” to add each of them).

1 – Now we are translating the website to 3 other languages and we were wondering if there is any way to assign the multiple header to all of them without having to add 3×16 = 48 new conditions to the header…. Instead of stating that the condition is:
ES – Singular – All pages – Contact(es)

If you can say:

All languages – Singular – All pages – Contact

That way only 16 conditions would be neccessary…

I ask this not only because of the work it takes but also because in another website we have had problems with the multiple headers which didn’t work very well always and I am afraid it could break at some point by adding too many pages to the conditions.

2 – Apart from this right now it says Multiple headers (45) which I don’t know what means. We don’t have so many multiple headers…

Hello,

1) Oh, I’m afraid that we don’t have such option. Only to choose what header to choose for what language.

2) Update theme and XStore core plugin to the latest version. After that try to edit any header and just re-save options. It would show the correct count after that. Reply back if it does not help.

Hello Olga,

1 ) OK, no problem. May I suggest that it could be a good improvement for the theme to add an option like that?

2) I have 7.2.3 which is the latest version right? I have noticed that when I change a header and save the changes, it shows the correct count (4 headers). But when I close and open the header builder again it says 84 headers. It’s just a number so I don’t care, just wanted to let you know. I think that 84 is the number of conditions, because the number went up when I put the conditions of the pages.
