    Original thread: https://www.8theme.com/topic/variable-products-showing-this-product-is-currently-out-of-stock-and-unavailable/#post-430745

    When I activate the child theme, many features stop working correctly. Orders from customers also stop completely, indicating there are other issues taking place across the site. When I re-activate the parent theme, orders resume and no problems occur.

    For example the “Shop All” button on the home page stops loading correctly when the child theme is activated.

    It seems there is some issue with the child theme itself, and I don’t know that fixing the above problem will be a suitable solution as there are likely other problems I am not noticing.

    Hello @d88dcjj,

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    We understand the inconvenience you are experiencing with the child theme.

    To assist you further, we recommend the following steps:

    1. Check for Custom Code in the Child Theme: If there are any customizations in the child theme (e.g., custom functions, CSS, or template overrides), please review them to ensure they are compatible with the latest version of the parent theme and WordPress.

    2. Enable Debugging: Activate WordPress debugging to identify any errors or warnings that may provide insight into the issues. You can enable debugging by adding the following lines to your wp-config.php file:

    define('WP_DEBUG', true);
    define('WP_DEBUG_LOG', true);

    After enabling this, check the debug log file (/wp-content/debug.log) for any error messages.

    Also, we don’t see any visible issues about loading of Shop all button on your home page so please, provide us some screenshots, videos of the issue you have.

    If you need further assistance, please provide us with temporary access to your WordPress admin panel and FTP (via the private content area) so we can investigate the issue directly. Kindly ensure you back up your site before sharing access or making any changes.

    We are here to help and will do our best to resolve this for you.

    Best Regards,
    Jack Richardson
