I highly need your help.
I worked my wordpress website into a subdomain “www.test.mywebsite.com/wordpress”
I wanted to changed the URL and removed “/wordpress”. So I do the necessary to change that in the FTP and in the wordpress setting.
But the website completely crashed (the theme does not work anymore) : please see the screenshot. Please help me

When you go to the url website, you won’t see the problem because I restaured a backup

You can’t remove “/wordpress” just via FTP and WordPress settings. You should remove it in the DB for all the links you had there. In your case, I would recommend you to get it back and use the Duplicator plugin to move the site from subdirectory to root directory or to another domain. It will replace all the necessary links in the DB.
