    Hi there,
we have added the waitlist option to the theme and also elementor template for the single product, but even the product is out of stock, the button is not showing on the front end. How can this be added/fixed? Also for the linked variations, we cannot select any product from the list.

    Please, contact administrator
    for this information.

    Hello, Suit District,

Thank you for reaching out to us with your concerns. We appreciate you choosing our theme for your website.

Regarding the issue with the waitlist button not appearing on the front end, as we can see it works fine – https://prnt.sc/M9jW95csq0ae Please clear cache and check one more time.
We added a URL in the Private Content area. Next time you can do the same.

“Also for the linked variations, we cannot select any product from the list.” – please record a video of your actions and the problem. Do not forget to provide relevant URLs.

Thank you for your cooperation and we look forward to hearing from you soon.

    Best Regards,

    Hi,
I did clear the cache from the server/website but it is not showing. As in the option, it says that the buy now button will be replaced with sign up to waitlist then I expected this to be working please check the files attached.

    Hello, Suit District,

We hope this message finds you well.

We would like to inform you that linked variations are only compatible with simple products. Below, we have provided the algorithm for creating such a product:

    1. Create Product Attributes:
    – Navigate to the ‘Product Attributes’ page in your dashboard.
    – Create the necessary product attributes (e.g., color, size) that will be used for variations.

    2. Configure Attribute Values:
    – After creating the attributes, define and configure the possible values for each attribute (e.g., red, blue for color; small, large for size).

    3. Create or Modify Simple Products:
    – Create new simple products or modify existing ones.
    – Assign the appropriate attributes to each product. For example, if a product is available in different colors and sizes, ensure each variation is represented.

    4. Assign Product Attributes to Variations:
    – For each product, set the attributes that will be used as variations. Ensure each product variation is assigned at least one value from each relevant attribute (e.g., Product 01: color – red, size – small).

    5. Cover All Attribute Combinations:
    – Repeat the process to cover all necessary attribute combinations. Ensure that every possible combination of attributes is represented by at least one product variation. For example:
    – Product 01: color – red, size – small
    – Product 02: color – blue, size – small
    – Product 03: color – red, size – large
    – Product 04: color – blue, size – large

    6. Create a New Linked Variation Group:
    – Navigate to the ‘Linked Variations’ or similar section.
    – Create a new linked variation group to combine the related products.

    7. Set Up Products and Attributes for the Linked Variation:
    – Within the linked variation group, add the products you configured.
    – Select the attributes that should be linked across these products.
    – Ensure that all products and their variations are properly linked based on the selected attributes.

    8. Review and Finalize:
    – Review the linked variations to ensure all products are correctly associated and that the user experience is seamless when switching between variations on the product page.

Should you require any further assistance or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Best Regards,
    The 8Theme Team

    Hi Andrew,
Thank you for this but we cannot have a simple product as all of the products have variants like size. Meaning
product 1. colour blue, size: small, medium… 2XL
product 2. colour beige, size: small, medium… 2XL

The simple product is just for one single variant i.e puzzle 100 pieces.

meaning we would like to combine the same product which we have in different colours using the feature you added recently.

We regret to inform you that the feature you are inquiring about is currently available exclusively for simple products. This limitation is in accordance with the standards set for this type of functionality.

    Thank you for your understanding.

Ok, thanks but what about the back-to-stock notification? As this also not showing on every single page as based on the previous comments.

    Dear @Suit District
The ‘back in stock’ notification is the same as waitlist. Someone names it like Waitlist while others like to name it as ‘Back in stock’ notify. As you are using the Single product builder based on Elementor you should add the appropriate element in the builder content.
    Kind regards, Jack Richardson

    Hi Jack,
Yes, we are using the Single Product Elementor template but the Waitlist didn’t show on every page where the actual item was out of stock.

    Hello @Suit District

Could you please, provide us the URL left in private area so we could check it by yourself. Also as @Andrew Mitchell previously answered you:

This feature is currently available exclusively for simple products.

So, maybe it is the case where non-simple product is displayed and there is Waitlist feature missing.

    Kind regards, Jack Richardson
