New install, error with update - by gdd - on WordPress WooCommerce support

    Hi…
    I’ve installed your theme onto a brand new site and when trying to update it to 7.2.4.1, I get this error:

    An error occurred while updating XStore: The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

    All I’ve done after the new WP setup was run the demo importer for one of the themes, and installed 1 plugin.

    Hi

    Thanks for using our theme.

    – try to Deactivate theme in XStore > Dashboard and activate it again using your purchase code.

    – After that you need to go to WP Dashboard > Updates > press “check updates” link to force check and clear cached links and only after that try to

    – update theme and XStore core plugin.

    Great, thanks! I had done all that prior to opening a ticket, minus flushing the cache. So I cleared the cache then did the update, and it worked.
