New tag also added to modified products (not new added)

Hello.

Next very massive problem in details: Add 100 new products via csv import or one by one: -> this product will have NEW tag. Great. Now change a image or something else in a already existing old product. Lets say you have to modify 100 products… All this products will also get the NEW product tag. Why you work based on modification date and not based on published date please? Visitors wanna see products with NEW tag that are published new, not which are modified. Woud you like to see 100 products which are modified with NEW tag or woud you like to see 100 new added products? Why we have to talk about most simple basics? I have the feeling we are the only one who deep dive in this theme and stuck in basics already.
I can see other users also have the same problem here and in comments section (themeforest).

Regarding your comment about the lack of requests for this feature, we must clarify that we have received a few inquiries. These were successfully addressed with a simple one-line filter added to the child-theme/functions.php, as detailed in our forum post https://www.8theme.com/topic/making-that-the-product-badge-new-displays-only-on-new-products-not-on-modified-ones/#post-361981. Additionally, we received a request for this feature just a few days ago, indicating that while it may not have been critical, it was indeed necessary for those who requested it. These customers were satisfied with the solution by custom filter provided.

We are grateful for your dedication to thoroughly testing our theme, a level of engagement that not many customers reach. Rest assured, the feature you mentioned will be incorporated in the next update. However, if you need this feature urgently, please provide the correct wp-admin and FTP details of your website, and we will upload the files that have been modified to implement this option correctly.

Hello Jack,

okay, we will wait. We do not wanna add more snippets to wp, because after 3 days with your theme right now we have 110 lines code and 40 lines custom css. I never handle so much custom code after 3 days in a simple project with a modern theme. I see you have very fast support and you have very good hands on. But you will save your own time and sell much more this theme if you stop adding more and more functions and improve the deep dive details.

Another example is the plain text menu style without option to add border/seperate each line of menu by design like seperator.
The elementor widget only have text styling options like font-size. The user does not have the feeling i have to click that menu because it does not look like menu, its more like text-link and does not have eye/touch focus.

We also running benchmark with example store:
Installing fresh wp and added 5000 products via import. Activate your theme and core plugins.
Installing fresh wp and added 5000 products via import. Activate another massive/big theme and their core plugins.

Now we running 50, 100, 500, 5000 visitor per seconds in a benchmark on same server.

Your theme have a bottleneck in category filter request. Its much slower then other theme with same server, same wordpress, same woocommerce, same products, same plugins, same category.

After that one of my dev in my team started to run xrax, server profiling on php base and simple query monitor tool and that confirmed this issue. They patched that issue and adding new file to child theme. Now its faster like the other theme! After we are finished some other major issues on hightraffic projects we will share it with you.
