Hello
The latest security issue and update has caused our site to be down for 2 days. Cherryred.co.uk. Please can someone advise asap as my host is telling me that we need to change themes as this one is too problematic. I have reverted to the previous version of the theme but now it is not compatible with the new version of Xstore core plugin so it looks a mess. It´s causing many issues with Woocommerce and database problems. I have downgraded woocommerce back to 5.7.1 but no joy. Please help!
Hello,
Did you use child theme or parent theme before the update? What version of XStore theme did you use before the update?
Provide us with FTP access to your site, not with the cPanel access.
Regards
Hi Olga
Before the update we had version 8.0.6 which is what is currently installed.
Yes we use a child theme too.
FTP details here in the private area.
Thanks
Lauren
Hello,
At this moment I see only DB issues that are not relate to our theme https://prnt.sc/1uc9v9z
So, contact your hosting provider to fix them.

Hi Olga
The server say it is a theme issue. What´s more, the shipping options have now disappeared from Woocommerce checkout page. I reverted to a backup of the website from yesterday with version 8.0.7. Is there a known conflict with Woocommerce or the Woocommerce Table Rate Shipping plugin?
Many thanks
Lauren
Hello,
Why does the server support think that this is a theme issue? Do they have any server logs that display errors from theme side? Could you please share these logs?
I see that your site works https://prnt.sc/1ue93uk and you use the latest version of theme that I activated this morning. Shipping also in place on the checkout page https://prnt.sc/1ue99f5

Hi Olga
The shipping options came back but there was a strange issue whereby if you tried to update something in the cart (add or remove an item) it would not update unless you refreshed the page.
There was an issue with the AJAX request that caused a 503 error – this is down to some kind of broken php script.
We have ended up having to revert to a backup from last Tues 28th September. The only things updated that day were the Woocommerce version to the latest, and the Xstore theme to the latest version, and Xstore core plugin. So there must be some conflict somewhere.
Is the newest version of the theme from 24th September compatible with the newest version of Woocommerce (5.7.1)?
Hi Laurena86! I had also major issues last week when updating. I thought it was the theme/woocommerce. I downgraded my wordpress to 5.6.2 using a plugin to downgrade it. All my problems disappeared. Sounds exactly what you also experienced. Let me know if that helps for you!
Hey Franked! I am on WP version 5.7.3 and with the previous version of the theme and the previous version of Woocommerce it is working fine. Only when I updated theme, core and woocommerce did it start failing. The front end of the site just would not load to begin with, then the shipping options all disappeared and I had this weird issue when they returned where the cart would not update unless you refreshed the page.
What issues did you have out of interest?
Hello, @laurena86
8.0.7 version of theme is compatible with WooCommerce 5.7.1. Anyway, you may update WooCommerce plugin first (without theme update). Test your site. If everything is ok then update theme and core plugin to the latest version.

Hi Laurena! Sorry it was indeed another problem! We had major issues with the backend of the website. Received 503 errors because wordpress came in an infinite loop. It seems to be a different issue!
Hello, @franked
Do you need any help from our side with your issue? Please, create a separate topic in this case.
