Hello,
On your site, I can see 4.28.1 theme version, the latest one is 5.0.2. I do not see the problem with logo or menu. Have you downgraded theme version?
Please note, that the theme needs to be activated using purchase code in Theme Options.
If you your site is active we would recommend you to create staging site and try to update theme there because we made a lot of changes in PHP, JS files and also theme CSS. That’s why if you have some custom styles based on the old version they would be changed. If everything is ok after update on the staging site then update production.

1. No, you don’t need to pay for the new version. If such happens and you will face the activation message at the staging site then use the same purchase code to activate theme. You can use the same license for the production and dev, staging sites for the same project.
2. Child theme re-writes parent theme functions and you won’t lose the code if update parent theme. But we made a lot of changes in this major update https://xstore.8theme.com/update-history/ and removed a lot of functions. So, if you use removed functions in child theme you may face fatal error “call to undefined function” and will need to make appropriate changes in the child theme to fix this fatal error. Also, if yo check the updated demo https://xstore.8theme.com/ you’ll see that we made some update of the theme styles (line heights, paddings, font-sizes, input backgrounds, product title text-transform etc). That’s why these updates also will appear at your site.
3. We can help you with theme and plugins updates, no problem. Just provide access to the staging site Dashboard and FTP.

Are you sure that the update needs to be done on your production site? Some styling will be changed and we do not remember how looks all elements on your site. It would be better for you to create the full copy of your site.
To make the update we need FTP access (FTP hostname, FTP username, FTP password) also. Please ask your hosting provider support to create FTP account to your site files and give us the credentials.

It would be better if you provide FTP. We don’t need more permissions than it’s needed.
cPanel has root access to your the options and we would not recommend you to share such important info without absolute necessity.

What do you specifically mean by you want access to our FTP? We can give you private password to access our cpanel as this is the only route to our FTP.

Currently, in our Xstore, we cannot update anything, we keep getting http://prntscr.com/l1ts77 its been like this all week.

1) Contact your hosting provider to get:
FTP host, FTP username, FTP password. We need only this information.
2) Try to disable Massive Addons plugin and check if you can edit the post after that. Let me know about the results.

We have created a new FTP password in the Private Content.
Regarding the Addons, we have removed, however our updates worked once and then having tried to change something else, the same 404 message is appearing.

Also, just one more thing… What has happened to the 8Theme plugin from the side section, where we could change headers, add global css etc etc. Its vanished from this new update?

Now you can find it in XStore > Theme Options > Header and Custom CSS areas. We have improved the XStore admin panel, let me know if you need information about any other option.

We updated theme and plugin and of course, changes were made in PHP, CSS, JS files. You can check theme changelog.
1) We don’t understand the problem because the screenshot that you provided was removed. Please, make it again.
2) Home Page Video, Latest Offers and side space – I don’t see any problem with it https://gyazo.com/c9f82f76905de081fb2f1fbd5813aa39 Try to flush the browser cache.
3) Buying Page – I don’t see background< I think it was some cache http://prntscr.com/l3gyom also I have made all the widget texts uppercase.
4) Massive gaps on each page, between the main bar and opening paragraphs e.g. - http://prntscr.com/l3gzhe there is no gap, I see the page title there. I have added the underline and color for the current menu item.
Let me know what other issues do you have. We'll fix them.
