The “close forever” option for newsletter stopped functioning. When you click on the “x” nothing happens. I think one of the recent core updates caused this problem. Also, the options for “Newsletter On” are missing in the control panel (screen shot attached).
I have been able to roll back to an older version to re-establish control and turn off the newsletter popup for now (changed it to on click). I originally had it on open after 1000 ms but without the close forever options working it just keeps poping up on every page.
I tried re-installing the core plugin, it didn’t help.
I’ve also turned of all caching plugins and speed optimization options in the theme, it didn’t help.

Just as a note I’ve tested the Newsletter option on other sites I use with Xstore and they don’t seem to even pop up at all when I used the timed option. My connection details are in the private content. Oh I should mention I have deactivated the newsletter popup and rolled back to an older version of the X-store core plugin. You’ll see both in the “plugins”
Hello @pablostevens
You had ‘Preload content’ option activated so as such option was active in your Theme options then few others were locked to configure. For this time we deactivated it -> https://prnt.sc/-qU6Qi76nGUV. And now you can set the other setting of newsletter too.
Maintenance mode was temporary activated and then was deactivated.
Please, check now !
Kind regards, Jack Richardson
Thank you that works. Not a big deal, but clicking on the “x” doesn’t close the modal. Clicking anywhere else outside the modal does, so that’s fine, but really clicking on the “x” should close the modal too. Some people will try clicking there and it won’t work.
Hello @pablostevens
Such issue will be fixed in next update as well. For this time we uploaded a fix on your web-site too, so, please, check now.
Kind regards, Jack Richardson
