Hi
I’m getting emails submitted via the contact form ok but none of the Woocommerce emails generated when a sale is made or a report requested. I’ve installed an email monitor plugin, WP Mail Logging, and checked my SPAM folder but despite them being created by WooCommerce they are not getting to me. The thing is it was working with my hosting provider and the previous theme (Storefront) but has appeared to have stopped since I changed over to Xstore.
Can you help/suggest anything please?
PS I have other WooCommerce sites with the same hosting provider and am getting order emails successfully from those.
I’ve put my ftp/loggin details in the private area.
Hello,
We can’t connect to your FTP https://prnt.sc/132hr0o
https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/email-faq/#section-4
If the email was sent, but not received, there are a few steps that can be taken:
– Make sure you’re using an email address attached to your own domain in the “From” Address field in WooCommerce > Settings >Emails. Using your @gmail.com, @yahoo.com or similar public domain email address will likely cause emails to land in spam folders due to mismatch between the declared sender (servers of Gmail or Yahoo) and the actual sender (your server).
– Sign up for an account with a dedicated SMTP provider (an average site can usually stay within free usage) that will send the email for you. This should be more reliable than your own server’s mail-sending function.
Try to install WP Mail SMTP plugin and check if it helps you, one of our clients already had the similar issue https://www.8theme.com/topic/neither-customers-nor-i-am-receiving-emails-when-any-order-is-placed/#post-287420 and it helped him.

Hi Olga
I’ve checked the User and password for FTP and they are correct in the private area. Have ftp’d into the site using Filezilla with these credentials just now Ok.
I’m setting up a Sendinblue account using the plugin WP Mail SMTP so will see if this corrects my issue.
Also have changed the from email address in WooCommerce to an email address from the site domain and am now getting emails for orders, etc.
So, looks like that is the solution thanks.
Hello,
Glad to hear that you get emails again. You are welcome.
