I updated to your new theme and wordpress 4.4 and now the my site won’t display my nav menu in the header on any page. Also it won’t display the slider I had on the home page. I didn’t mean to update to wordpress 4.4. Can you you help?
i’m restoring from my backup so if that works do you offer support to update the theme?
I still need help the restore did not work either. I have back up files under wp-content/envato-backups. Please help!
I think it may be a wordpress version issue but have no idea
Hello mettleceo,
please specify – have you edited theme files?
Please provide us with FTP credentials in private content.
Regards,
Stan Russell.
I have not edited the theme files other than adding my on text to them. For Instance I change the address to my address etc… I did not edit any css or php just change the colors through the theme options panel. I have provided the ftp creds for you.
Hello,
Unfortunately we can’t log in with provided FTP details. Please check them and give us the correct ones. Thank you.
Best regards,
Jack Richardson.
sorry about that. here is the new login.
Hello,
I’ve reuploaded theme files. Please clear browser cache and check your site.

Thank you for fixing most of the issues. Do you know why I’ve lost all my footer content? It has replaced it with the themes content. Also on the about page it had loaded all the content in the footer. Lastly on the shop page all my descriptions of names of products are gone. They show up on the individual product page but not the main shop. Can you help with that as well as make sure I have the newest woo commerce? Thanks
Hello,
It seems that your database was corrupted during your first update that’s why the most theme options were lost (and footer widgets as well). You need to recreate custom footer widgets.
To display product name on shop page I’ve enabled option “Show product name” in Theme Options > Product Page Layout. If you want to show product description add this css code in custom.css:
.products-grid .product-descr {
display: block !important;
}
How to create custom.css you can watch in this tutorial (it’s for Legenda theme but the process is the same).
Also you can ask your hosting provider support to help you to restore the site files and database from last working backup.
Now you are using the latest woocommerce version.
Best regards,
Jack Richardson.
Ok thank you. They tried to restore but were unsuccessful. Anyway I’m trying to edit the widgets and when i go into the widgets there is nothing to edit under each footer section? Do you know why the content is not showing up in the widgets. For instance I’m trying to edit the contact info in the footer but can’t see where to edit it. I thought it would be in the 1st footer area. Can you direct me to the right area?
Cheers
Never mind I’m figuring out the widgets.
Last question. Woo commerce wants me to run the updater. IS that safe to do? Also it says Your theme (IDStore – Responsive WordPress Theme) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. You can see which files are affected from the system status page. If in doubt, check with the author of the theme.
Is that something you can fix?
Thanks for all the help
Hello,
Woo commerce wants me to run the updater. IS that safe to do?
Yes you can run the updater.
As for the outdated files you shouldn’t worry about those notices. They won’t affect your site at all. We edited Woocommerce files in wp-content/themes/idstore/woocommerce directory and old version may be written in those files. But, please don’t worry, as the original version is written in wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/templates directory.
So you can hide this message or you can fix it by editing the files in wp-content/themes/idstore/woocommerce directory and change the version to the current Woocommerce version that you’re using.
