I am using the one page lawyer default content theme. I want to have menu links that link to the different sections of the content.

What URL or link do I use to link to the different content bands? For example, in this demo page, https://www.8theme.com/demo/royal/?page_id=20031&et_styles=0-1-1-9-0-1 how would I like to the Lawyers section halfway down the page?

    Hello,

Unfortunately we don’t have such feature in our theme. Sorry.
We’ll take this into our account and perhaps will implement it in our future updates.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

What’s the point of a one page theme variant then?

How do I edit the social media links and which social media icons are shown?

    Hello,

Social icons are added to the page using shortcode [share], so to edit them you need edit the file shortcodes.php (from the line 1731), which is located in wp-content/themes/royal/framework directory.

    Thank you.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    1. Are shortcodes used to populate the footer social media links?
    2. How do you edit the social icons shortcodes so that they link to the any URL you want, rather than share the specific page?
    3. How would I add in the social media icons in the top header instead of the search site button?
    4. How do I add a subject field to the contact form?
    5. Is there anyway to include placeholder text into the input fields so that I can remove the titles of the input forms?

    Hello,
    1. To create such footer go to Static Blocks > add new and create layout you want. Then edit your page and select your footer static block in Page Layout area. To add share feature use special created shortcode [share class=”larger white”] https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/royal/index.html#!/royal_shortcodes
    2. They share page where they are located.
    3. It’s not possible without additional customization. But you can use Languages area (at the left top corner) to add social icons. Go to Appearance > Widgets > Place in header top bar.
4., 5. If you want to change contact for we recommend you to use Contact Form 7 plugin, because there is no option to edit our contact form.

Okay thanks for the direction. For the short code [share class=”larger white”] which PHP files do I edit to remove the pinterest and google plus icons? If you tell me where that code is stored, I should be able to figure out what lines to remove. Please advise asap!

I’m having the same dilemma as above. I would like to create the menus as you describe. What was your solution? Thanks in advance!

    Hello,

You can create your menu in Appearance > Menus section. Add the items you need.
You can select what to show in the list on the left side for menu in Screen Options at the top of the page.

    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

My question was the same as the previous one:

What URL or link do I use to link to the different content bands? For example, in this demo page, https://www.8theme.com/demo/royal/?page_id=20031&et_styles=0-1-1-9-0-1 how would I like to the Lawyers section halfway down the page?

Is there a solution for this yet?

    Hello,

If you used Lawyer template there should be a slider of it in Revolution Slider settings. You can install other template and create your own page and use Lawyer slider for it. Its shortcode should be [rev_slider Lawyer].

    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.
