Only Main Product Image Updates When Variant Selected

When I select a variant for a t-shirt, Only the main product image changes while the other related variant images in the thumbnails remain the same. See screenshot.

Hello, @Kore,

Thank you so much for purchasing our theme and contacting our support center.

1/ Should you enable the “Show Variation Gallery” feature within the Theme Options, you will have the capability to assign variation-specific gallery images by modifying the product. This process is illustrated in the following screenshot: https://ibb.co/RChzhgY Consequently, selecting any variation from the user interface will result in the display of the corresponding image gallery for that particular variation.

Furthermore, please be advised that when the ‘Variation Gallery’ is activated on a product page, the display will be limited to the Variation Image Gallery exclusively. This means that the product video and the standard product gallery will not be displayed concurrently with the Variation Image Gallery.

2/ If the issue persists, we would appreciate it if you could create temporary wp-admin access and share the details via the private content area. This will allow us to review your settings and better understand the issue at hand.

Thank you for providing wp-admin access.

We noticed that you are using local color attributes, that is the main reason, the color swatches did not change variation gallery images. There are two types of swatches: local and global. For a more detailed understanding, we encourage you to read the following article: [Variation Swatches](https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/video-tutotials/variation-swatches/).

We would like to inform you that the “Theme Variations and Swatches” feature is compatible exclusively with Global Attributes and does not support local product attributes.

To utilize the color attributes of squares and circle for global color variations, please follow the steps outlined below:

1. Navigate to your Dashboard and select ‘Products’.
2. Click on ‘Attributes’, then ‘Color Attributes’, and choose ‘Edit’.
3. In the ‘Type’ field, select the desired ‘Type Value’.
4. Click “Update” to save your changes.

For your reference, an illustrative image has been provided in the private content area.
