Open product categories widget by default option not working

Hello, Open product categories widget by default option in Shop>Shop Page layout in xstore default old theme isnt working. it is working fine when i open the /store page but when i click categories page, categories widget is oepning by default even if i turn that option off. Please help me solve this issue
