Opening external product in a new window

Hi There,

Hello Everyone. I just joined this forum mainly to ask about this problem i’m having and probably in the future some more questions :).

I recently set up a wordpress website (blanco theme) combined with woo commerce with the purpose of maintaining an affiliate website.

On the product overview en product detail page there is an button to the website of the owner of the product. I want that button to open in a new window because i dont want the visitor to totally close off my website. but i cant find what file and where i have to edit this.

I can do basic html and css, and i edit some files myself and i hope someone has a solution.

I really hope someone can help me!

Hello,

Could you please provide us with link of the page concerning what button you’re talking about?
Also please provide us with FTP and wp-admin panel credentials in Private Content.

Hi Eva,

Sorry for the delay. i did not receive an email telling me there was a reply. Regarding opening the button in a new window, it’s every button in the website that has the text ‘meer informatie’ on it.

they are visible on the homepage, sub-category page and the product detail page.

On the homepage:

on every sub-category page (2 example links included)

http://www.huisinrichter.nl/inrichting/woonaccessoires/antiek/

and on every product detail page: (2 examples included)

I dont know how to enter screenshots in this post, but since it’s every button containing ‘meer informatie’ i hope it’s clear. I really hope you can help me!

Hello,

Thank you for explanation.
As you’re using external product type, it’s related to Woocommerce configuration.
You have to contact their support in order to find which files need to be modified. There are no such settings in our theme.
