on my wordpress dashboard it says:

Your theme (XStore) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. You can see which files are affected from the system status page. If in doubt, check with the author of the theme.

PHP version: 5.4.43 – We recommend a minimum PHP version of 5.6. See: How to update your PHP version

How do I fix that?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Hello,

We’ll fix WooCommerce out of date files in next theme update.
To update PHP version contact with your hosting provider.

When will the next theme update take place? A lot of people are experiencing issues now because the theme is out of date.

WC shipping calculation not working right due to OUT DATE WC I guest, some time it calculate some time not
Here are the massages
xstore/woocommerce/cart/cart.php version 3.0.0 is out of date. The core version is 3.0.3,
xstore/woocommerce/checkout/form-shipping.php version 2.2.0 is out of date. The core version is 3.0.0,
xstore/woocommerce/content-single-product.php version 1.6.4 is out of date. The core version is 3.0.0,
xstore/woocommerce/single-product/product-image.php version 3.0.0 is out of date. The core version is 3.0.2,
xstore/woocommerce/single-product/product-thumbnails.php version 3.0.0 is out of date. The core version is 3.0.2,

I don’t understand why you are behind on updating the Woocommerce template files, especially when they are major ones affecting cart and shipping? It seems that you should have these updated immediately.Why is this not a priority for you?

Also, why does the WP dashboard not notify me when there is an update for the plugins that come with the Xstore theme?

Hi all,

I sent the updated WC files to your emails please check and use them.

NB : this is for WC 3.0.3.
Hope, this will work fine in 3.4 too.
Do not forget to make a backup of your woocommerce files before replacing them.
And this is ONLY for XSTORE.

I want to check if this issue is related to the theme. Unfortunately anyone populating products like me with variations will have to upgrade to 3.04.

I have small bugs related to theme files, but this worried me, but I think it’s because of the theme’s substitutions too.

Send me the files, I test in version 3.03 and then I will update to 3.04 and report if there are problems

Hello, @identidade

Keep in mind this is the pre-release archive of the 3.12 version of our theme. Backup all your files before the update!
Maybe you will need to re-activate theme after this update.

I testing (beta tester heheheh), WP 4.7.4, WC 3.0.3 hard clear cache…
Strange to me that he asked to activate the theme again, but let’s go to the results…

1) Page Menu – Moved to the right instead of the center as it was. Then I discovered a change in the cart widget, wishlist and search (very good 🙂 i loved options). I chose the all header options and it came back.

2) Shop Page – OK

3) Product Page – Problem continues. The first thumbnail appears after a few moments, console with error 404 (false) as in the link image below:

4) Cart page, Checkout page, Account and others pages – OK

6) Quick View – working ok

7) Admin Woocommerce – perfect, no erros, no more slow queries

Anyway only the thumbnail problem persists. What could be happening?

Hello,

Thank you! We are glad that you like the new options. Also, we have added search by SKU, improved brands list widget and added Brands list VC element with A-Z filter.

Try to Regenerate thumbnails to fix problem with the broken image. Seems like WP does not have the thumbnail for the main image. If it does not help I will need admin panel and FTP access to check.

Explaining beter the only error found on the product page:
1) all thumbnails appear
2) After a moment the first one disappears
3) The error appears on console 404.

I do not think it’s a matter of missing the thumbnail because it’s there, it looks like something is trying to replace the image …

After examining everything I found only two more problems besides the fancy miniature.
1- The [8Theme] Products module does not work right on the store and on the product page. Instead of showing 6 products as I set it, it shows more and moves to the middle of the page in a strange way.

2- The titles of the longer products do not break for a new line as before.

And this is all apparently.

Okay, first problem, first thumbnail missing/changing… is solved with Woocommerce 3.0.4. And after update not see new problems.

Only two problems above remain…

Just update Woocommerce to 3.0.4. It solves thumbnail problem. I tested pre-relase 3.12 xtore files and is all ok with 3.0.4

Litle problem with long product names break and [8Themes] Product slider not strech on line corretly.

Just wait for the official relase and with woocommerce 3.0.4 the thumbnails are displayed correctly.

Hello,

Please, update theme to the version 3.12. It’s available on ThemeForest.
Do the backup of theme options before the update (Theme Options > Import/Export > Options > download .json file)
After update disable XStore Core plugin, re-activate theme, then activate XStore core plugin and go to Appearance > Install plugins > update Core plugin.
We have made some improvements for the cart/search/wishlist options in the header https://www.8theme.com/demo/xstore/update-history/ so, after update very likely you will need to choose the position of these options in theme settings.
