What to do?
Your theme (XStore Child) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need to be updated to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. Recommendations to solve this:
Update your theme to the latest version. If no update is available, please contact the theme author and ask about compatibility with the current WooCommerce version.
If you’ve copied over a template file to make changes, you’ll need to copy the new version of the template and redo your changes.
Hello, @Nick,
Are you using the latest version of the Parent Theme and Core Plugins?
You don’t need to update the child theme but please update the XStore parent theme and Core plugin to the latest versions – http://prntscr.com/qrmeeb https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-installation/theme-update/
This article will help you to update plugins – https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/plugins-update/

Hello,
So you did changes in files of the child theme – https://www.8theme.com/topic/woocommerce-templates-not-compatible-utdated/

He Rose,
The only thing I can think of is that we use Yaymail for custom templates. But that shouldn’t have any effect on the woocommerce default templates right? They should have updated with the latest update…
How to proceed now?
Hello,
Could you provide URL and temporary wp-admin access?
Create an account via Dashboard (Users > Add new) with administrator role http://prntscr.com/s3rc9m > provide us with username and password via the Private Content area http://prntscr.com/s5mao7 You can use any email for it.

He Rose,
Thank you for your reply.
Due to security reasons we can’t give you access to our shop. Are there any steps we can take to solve this problem?
Many thanks.
Hello @Nick,
Yes, as was mentioned, you need to compare 2 files (from the parent theme and from the child theme with your changes) and add the missing code to your child theme file.

Please note that we are not responsible for custom changes that you do in the child theme.

He Rose,
Ok all clear, we will do that and make a backup first. This shouldn’t be to hard, just checking if we missed something else.
Have a nice day.?
Gr. Nick
