Outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files

    Hello there. How do I deal with this error message?

    “Your theme (Xstore Child) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. You can see which files are affected from the system status page. If in doubt, check with the author of the theme”.

    Hi, I have installed latest version today an I am also getting error below for CHILD theme. How do I update it?

    Version: 3.11.1

    ” Your theme (XStore Child) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. ”

    Hello,

    We’ll release version 3.12 of our theme that should fix problem with out of date files.
    So, you need to wait for theme update, then update parent theme on your site. If you still have out of date files in child theme after that you will need to compare parent theme files and your child theme files and add the difference. This service will help you to find difference in code https://text-compare.com/

    When will 3.12 be released? And will it update the Child Theme also?

    Alos, does it cause any problem to site until then?

    Hello,

    Please, update theme to the version 3.12. It’s available on ThemeForest.
    Do the backup of theme options before the update (Theme Options > Import/Export > Options > download .json file)
    After update disable XStore Core plugin, re-activate theme, then activate XStore core plugin and go to Appearance > Install plugins > update Core plugin.
    We have made some improvements for the cart/search/wishlist options in the header https://www.8theme.com/demo/xstore/update-history/ so, after update very likely you will need to choose the position of these options in theme settings.

    Theme update won’t change any child theme files.

    Again I can’t update my Xstore to 3.12 that Envato informed me about the release.
    Again my WP Dasboard says: Your theme (XStore) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files….etc.
    Again my plugins Easy Theme and Plugin Upgrades and Envato Market don’t upgrade neither Xstore theme, nor the plugins…

    Hello,

    Try force WP check for theme update http://prntscr.com/f15bbs I’m not sure why WP caches this info and it takes up to few days before to show this.
