I’m trying to do a batch update of product page template for a certain category through WP All Import. It detects the field ‘page_product_layout’ however it’s only showing ‘inherit, style_2 and default’. What do I use to change to ‘wide’ template? See screenshot.
Hi!
we don’t understand your query . please provide more details regarding this issue and what do you mean by “want to change this wide” in the screen shot ?

– check this helps or not
I’m trying to figure out why it’s not detecting the other product page formats. There’s a handful of them and I want to change to the wide entered version for a particular category. I’m certain there’s another way to do this using if else statement in the child theme.
Any suggestions on how I can do something similar for this theme?
Hello,
Single product page in our theme does not have field “page_product_layout”, our option http://prntscr.com/hpnkmd uses _et_single_layout name and id, the value of the Wide layout is “wide”, so I can’t understand where did you get “page_product_layout” field.

Hi Olga,
Thanks for your reply. I managed to figure this out just before I came on the forum – you’re correct, the field is ‘_et_single_layout’. This controls what the product page layout is. I reversed the WP All Import process and used WP All Export to see what custom fields are tagged to the products.
After doing some digging I have realized that the ‘page_product_layout’ field was coming from another theme I had installed prior to prototyping with XStore.
I managed to use WP All Import to doing a mass override on certain products using the ‘_et_single_layout’ and value ‘wide’. It worked.
Anyway we can change the title of this post? It might be misleading for other people seeking info. Can you edit via admin access?
Thanks for your reply.
Hello,
Ok, I’m glad that you sorted out.
Unfortunately, we can’t change the field because it may cause problems for the old users.
Regards
