When we try and print a page in Google Chrome it shows all this code instead of the text.
especially an issue is Recipes as these will often be printed!
See your demo – it occurs here also.

(planning to launch this week so hope to get this resolved quickly! thanks!)
Hello,
Thank you for contacting us and for using XStore.
Please check how it works with the default WooCommerce theme – Storefront.
Go to Appearance > Themes > Install and activate the Storefront theme.
Let us know the results.

8Theme’s Team
Thanks for the reply.
I don’t think that really matters as your own theme demo (see the links already provided) does it also.
I just checked and your demo does the same thing in Edge also.
It is an issue with the theme- wish I noticed it sooner. I hope it can be resolved quickly. Thanks
Dear @FIT,
Thank you for reaching out to us regarding the issue you’re experiencing with printing pages in Google Chrome, where code appears instead of the text.
Currently, default themes and plugins for WooCommerce and Elementor do not fully support such features out-of-the-box. Our product is directly compatible with WooCommerce and Elementor, and to achieve the functionality you’re requesting, it would require a comprehensive approach, integrating everything seamlessly.
Given that this is a unique request from your side, it isn’t feasible for us to develop a specific solution immediately. However, we can offer several potential solutions:
Feature Request:
You can create a feature request on our task board here: https://www.8theme.com/taskboard/. If we see significant interest (10-20 votes), we will consider it for future development.
Plugin Search:
Look for a plugin that specializes in printing pages correctly and contact their support for assistance.
Custom Code Development:
You can opt for custom code development. This will involve a substantial amount of coding and associated costs. We offer a customization service which you can inquire about here: https://www.8theme.com/account/#etheme_customization_panel.
Browser Extension:
As a workaround, you can use the “GoFullPage – Full Page Screen Capture” extension available for Chrome. This allows you to take a complete screenshot of the page and save it as a PDF.
We hope one of these solutions meets your needs. Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions or need additional assistance.
Best regards,
Jack Richardson
The 8theme’s team
This is the only theme I have ever come across in over 10years that cannot print like a normal website.
This is an absolutely unacceptable bug/flaw in your theme.
It must be fixed by your team as a priority. I am launching this week and have spent 100s of hours.
I find it shocking your theme cannot do the most basic everyday function like printing… And worse you want me to pay you to fix this bug/flaw.
Printing is an everyday requirement for all websites. As such it should 100% be included in your support offering.
Please provide an update to fix this asap.
Dear FIT,
Thank you for highlighting this matter to us. Could you kindly provide us with several examples of themes where the printing functionality is performing satisfactorily?
We would like to point out that the core functionalities of WooCommerce and Elementor may also encounter difficulties during the printing process. As such, this issue appears to be specific and unique at present. Considering that we have only received one report concerning this problem, we are currently treating it as a customization request.
We suggest exploring a plugin that can accommodate this specific feature. Your understanding in this matter is greatly appreciated, and we eagerly await your response.
Warm Regards
Team at 8Theme
