Cannot seem to create parallax effect for the homepage… please help.

When the background is parallax and I scroll…. the image shakes! not smooth at all… what should i do? Change pic size? Please advise!

Also, how do i get rid of the word “Free!” when we do not put the price of the products in but we still want them to be able to add cart!

Hello,

1. Try to add this code in custom.css file:
```
.et_section.parallax-section {
  background-attachment: scroll !important;
}
```
How to create custom.css you can watch in this tutorial (it’s for Legenda theme but the process is the same).

Hello,

Please update the theme to the latest version 2.7.1 and Woocommerce as well.
Before update delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/legenda/ and it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package.
Also update all required plugins https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ .

Don’t forget to create back up of your files and database before starting update process!

Also remove the css code provided before in custom.css.

I have followed the instructions and updated everything. However, it did not help with the effects for Chrome for Parallax. Also, now has a new bug for firefox and IE for News & Update on home page. Please see same link.

Hello,

The problem in Firefox browser was caused by the code you used in “Raw HTML” element:

I’ve removed it as well as Posts Grid element and added Posts Slider element instead.

Concerning the image for parallax effect try to upload image in higher resolution.

Thank you for your help. However, even when i tried a high resolution picture it does not solve the bug for Chrome for Parallax Effect. I tested with the theme picture as you can see on the home page again. Also I have tried adding a new one on another page and the same thing occurs.
