Hello, I just recently purchased this theme specifically for the parallax version, but I have not been able to see it work yet. I thought I was doing something wrong so I deleted WordPress completely and reinstalled in a new directory. Then I
1. installed the theme and all plugins brand new,
2. logged in to the dashboard activated all plugins,
3. then activated the theme,
4. Theme Options>import/export, install version(parallax)
5. visit site
The slider works although it has the text all screwed up and the arrows are rectangles. Scroll down and no parallax effect. Sometimes the images are there sometimes they are not, if they are visible as you scroll they disappear and the page goes blank. Only some text is visible.
I’m using an iMac, I try on Safari and Chrome same problem on both.
I try the Macbook, Safari: works, Chrome: 1st image stays behind slider as I scroll, other images are not even there.
iPad>Safari seems like its working but no parallax, maybe its not supposed to?
Galaxy s5, Chrome: no slider, images are visible as I scroll, Firefox: no slider, images are visible.
I don’t know if its my browsers or OSX or connection or the theme, but I know I installed it fresh and haven’t modified anything. But the slider is not showing up on mobile and the arrows are squares. And the parallax is not functioning properly.
Please help me get this right as I only want to change the images and text on the front page.
Thanks,
Ivan
Hello,
We can’t view your site, got an error “Server not found”. Please check it.
Also please provide us with FTP credentials in Private Content.
Regards,
Robert Hall.
Sorry I added an s at the end of the domain, its actually tycoscooter.com
What is FTP? I don’t have it. The WP login credentials are in Private Content.
Thank you,
Ivan
Hello,
Please ask your hosting provider to give you login credentials for FTP account and resend them to us.
Thank you.

Eva Kemp.
Hi,
I created an ftp account in my hosting account. credentials in private.
So apparently the theme is actually working just not in Chrome or the older Safari on my iMac. I am running an older version of OSX(10.6.8) on my iMac and therefore it does not let me upgrade Safari to any newer version than 5.1.10 whch I am assuming doesn’t even know what parallax is.
My macbook is running on OSX Yosemite 10.10.5 with Safari 8.0.8 and the parallax is working here just the slider is a little off (arrows and text).
It also works on IOS. I tried iPad and iPad mini, both work just no parallax effect.
I tried on Windows today and it actually works on IE! Here the slider arrows are Chinese characters.
Chrome however, on all four platforms (older OSX, newer OSX, Windows or Android) is not working.
I know I mentioned before but on the Galaxy s5 the slider is not visible on either Chrome or Firefox. However it is visible on the “Internet” browser but the entire theme is floating left.
I would love to have the theme to work seamlessly on all platforms and browsers.
Hello,
The issue has been fixed with slider and parallax effect.
Please clear browser cache and check.
Best regards,
Jack Richardson.
Thank you very much! The slider is working great now. And all the frontpage images are visible on all platforms. However there is no parallax effect anywhere now. Before it was working on the newer Safari and IE, not anymore. Also the slider is still partially covered/visible on Android (Chrome and Firefox, I can see it on the default browser).
Here’s how they look:
Chrome:
Firefox:
I went into the frontpage and checked the rows and the settings are how the documentation says they should be so I don’t understand why its not working as it should.
Hello,
Please add this code in Theme Options > Custom CSS > Custom CSS for mobile landscape and Custom CSS for mobile:
.page-content {
display: inline-block;
}
After that check your site.
Best regards,
Jack Richardson.
Same issue, parallax images don’t show …
You can help me? The website is http://wavemarketing-siti.it/jobtima/
Thank you in advance
Hello,
I’ve got the same problem! I’ve bought woothemes also especialliy for the parallax effect; I did everything according to the documentation (I’m a beginner) but I can’t seem to get it to work. Could you help me?
Hello @gloriawave, @invemedia
This issue is related to Ultimate VC Addons plugin. We contacted them and received the reply:
We tested, at the moment – Fixed background property is creating bugs in Chrome.
See reports here –

https://wordpress.org/support/topic/problem-with-fixed-backgrounds-in-chrome
if you google “Chrome bug with fixed background” you will find many people reporting the same.
The workaround for this is quick. Simply change fixed background to “Move with the content” (scroll) Further – you can apply parallax to it and make it even more beautiful.
Please try the suggestion of them.

Eva Kemp.
gloriawave’s site looks beautiful! I want mine to work like that 🙁
I think I’m a stuppid a**h*** but I can seem to get it to work; please help me out!
I tried to apply “Move with content” but still not working 🙁
@FuegoHD thank you!
Any chance I can have this theme working just like the demo? The demo looks great on all platforms…
The main reason I purchased Woopress was for the parallax effect and I just cannot get it to work. Also on mobile it is missing a piece on the right side of the screen. Seems like the images are floating left? I can’t find what is wrong in the settings. And I don’t understand coding.
Please help me before I give up and switch to a more simple boxed variant.
Hello @FuegoHD,
Our demo site uses old version of “Ultimate VC Addons” plugin.
The latest plugin version has issues with parallax effect.
We contacted them and received the reply:

Now the option “Move with the content” is already set for the elements on your Parallax page.

Hello @invemedia,
As I see Woopress theme isn’t installed for your site.
Please install it and provide us with a link to Parallax page.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
Hi Eva,
Yes I saw this info on a previous post and it has been set to move with content yet still not working. It is the same on Firefox and Safari not only Chrome…
Can I still get the older version of the plugin? I would rather have a notice telling me to upgrade in my WP dashboard if that would make the effect work.
Hello @FuegoHD,
I’ve sent Ultimate VC Addons version 3.11.1 to your email address.
Please check it.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
Thank you for that email. But that didn’t work either. I installed the older version and tried with the same settings and still no parallax.
I thought maybe I would buy the plugin directly to get support from the author and while there I found some tutorial videos. After watching a few I learned about other cool parallax effects that I will try to see if they work.
I also noticed that VC has a newer version available… Could it be that the issue was with that plugin instead and they fixed it with this new release? When will that updated version be available on here for us to download? Do we get notice when theres an update available?
Hello @FuegoHD,
The plugin can be downloaded here:

Please show a screenshot of the parallax issue you have.
Thank you.

Jack Richardson.
