Partial code showing on home page instead of actual revolution slider

Hello,

Only a portion of a shortcode for revolution slider is showing on the home page
[rev_slider_vc alias=”slider-a”]

The actual slider is not showing

Please help

yes thank you for your prompt response. I had to install a demo theme to solve the issue.
