Hello, I’m attempting to password protect a page, but when the page loads it loads the password field twice on the page. I was originally just going to hide the 2nd instance of the password field using CSS, but then realized that it’s totally screwing up the footer as well. The footer content is missing.
You can see this bug in action here: http://www.americanworkerid.com/request-sample/request-sample-form/
Thank you. I look forward to your reply.

Thank you. See below:
Hello,
I’ve added this code in child style.css file:
.main-footer form.post-password-form {
display: none;
}
Please check the page now.
Best regards,
Jack Richardson.
Hello, Thank you for the quick reply. But as I said in my original post:
“I was originally just going to hide the 2nd instance of the password field using CSS, but then realized that it’s totally screwing up the footer as well. The footer content is missing.”
Simply hiding the duplicate code does not fix the problem because it’s rendering incorrectly and causing the footer to bug out. If you look at the offending page footer; https://www.americanworkerid.com/request-sample/request-sample-form/ Vs. the footer on all the other pages you’ll see that the bottom part of the page is actually missing.
Thanks again for looking into this. 🙂
