Hello,
I have seen different general comments and Qs flying around, but wanted to start a thread specifically for this.
When will/does Xstore support PHP 7? The performance gains are so great that a host can’t ignore it.
All host co’s have been intro’ing PHP 7 this year. The most conservative companies waited, but most hosting co’s have PHP7 now after the more adventurous companies offered it 10 months or so. It seems WP will deprecate PHP 5.6 support next year some time too.
Thanks again
Hello,
Yes, we have added PHP7 support in version 2.5. https://www.8theme.com/demo/xstore/update-history/

Great stuff Olga – you’re a good team – don’t stop!
R.
Thank you!

It could be my fault and it is somewhere, but I can never find this version history link and keep having to refer back to this message. Googling it doesn’t even bring it up easily. Could you add a link to the support docs?
Many thanks,
R
I will like to add that your theme don’t support PHP7
Their are lots of errors in the Xstore core and in the Redux framework plugin.
So you don’t support PHP 7
Works nicely for me, with a huge speed boost too to be honest
Hello,
@RR123 you can find our changelog here https://www.8theme.com/demo/xstore/update-history/ Here is version of the PHP 7 support http://prntscr.com/dilyaa
@cassim Redux plugin is third-party plugin that is included in our theme, so we can’t fix the issues related to that plugin but we can contact with plugin support if you found any issues and I think they will fix them. So, could you, please, tell me what errors did you get? Also, tell me what version of XStore core plugin do you use?
Regards
