Hi, getting this error on my server with your theme, please can you fix it:
[02-Aug-2017 13:21:48 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function cmb2_get_metabox() in /home/wethrive/dev.wethrive.co.za/wp-content/themes/xstore/framework/thirdparty/cmb2-taxonomy/includes/CMB2_Taxonomy.php on line 137
Hi,
I do not see that error in your frontend site.
I think you are seeing that error in your admin panel (dashboard/wp-admin)
We need your wp-admin login details to check this.
Hi,
Sure thing. Here are admin login details for you:
I specifically get the error when editing a product category. If you want to test it you can change the slug for product category “Body care” to “body-care”.
Thank you. Let me know if there is anything else you need from me.
Just an extra note:
The error is being reported by the server and is logged in the /public_html/wp-admin/errorlog file.
Another question, the related products seem to be categorized by tags. Is there a way to change this? I need them to be categorized by the main category. Should I open another ticket for this question? Thank you!
Please see private message.
Hello,
Please activate CMB2 plugin and then try to edit product category.
Related product relate to woocommerce functionality, necessary information you can find here https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/related-products-up-sells-and-cross-sells/
Regards
Thank you Rose.
Activating the CMB2 plugin sorted out the product category issue.
With regards to the related products, under 8Theme Options > E-Commerce > Single Product Page, there is an option for “Display related products”. What is this grouping the products by? Category or Tag?
Hello,
We use default WC function to display Related products. WC documentation mentions that
“Related Products is a section on some templates that pulls products from your store that share the same tags or categories as the current product.
These products cannot be specified in the admin, but can be influenced by grouping similar products in the same category or by using the same tags.”
If you don’t like default WC order you can either use the additional plugin to manage related products or edit template files.
Regards
