Yesterday I downloaded the plugin Ultimate Addons for Visual Composer from your website (under my downloads) and uploaded it via FTP and it said it was up to date. Now today, I deactivated it and then re-activated it and it somehow reverted back to the old version (while the 3.15.2 version is still here). Not sure why this is happening?
I believe all these plugins updates are making my website have the Server Error 500 issue (happens a few times a day) due to compatibility and would like a more streamline way to process in the future. Any suggestions? Thank you.
Dear 8themes,
I want to activate the plug-in revolution slider, and there are provisions to provide advance purchase code, when I’ve put it, why do I get a notification that the purchase code invalid?
Hello @Julio,
Theme purchase code can’t be used for plugins.
All plugins are external extensions which are included into theme because for each product we purchase “Extended license” and that’s why we are able to include it into them. This plugin works fine without activation and you can always get actual version if you want directly from us. The plugins can be downloaded from this link https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ . We update plugins with theme updates from time to time so plugins will be also updated with each next theme update. The option with registering of the plugins has been already added to plugin and this only allows you to get automatic updates and support for this plugin directly from an author if you need. You don’t need to register this product because it is not required but if you want to get those features, then you need to purchase this plugin directly from the author. This is how it works for all themes on Themeforest and not only in our case.

Eva Kemp.
Hello @sande410,
I’ve reuploaded Ultimate VC Addons plugin folder.
As I see you’re using old theme version. Update it too.
Before update delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/woopress/ and it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package.
Don’t forget to create back up of your files and database before starting update process!
(it’s for Legenda theme but the process is the same).

Eva Kemp.
Hello Eva,
Thanks for the information. Before updating, I have a question about the woocommerce folder.
You are suggesting I delete the folder via FTP and a new one will be created in the theme. What will happen to all the settings I currently have under the WooCommerce plugin, such as orders, coupon codes, and settings? I don’t want it to be a brand new install with the default settings so I just want to make sure of this before deleting it. Thank you.
Hello,
Woocommerce settings won’t be lost as you’ll remove the folder in the theme directory, not in the plugins directory.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
Thank you, I was able to update the theme successfully!
Hello,
You’re welcome.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
