Dear Support,
Are we supposed to be updating Woopress with all of their customized versions of the plugins?
We saw that there are a bunch of plugins in there, some of which are newer than on our site, like the visual editor. Are we supposed to be updating plugins from 8theme? And if so, how do we know when updates are available? Do you have a system in place for notifying us?
Thank you.
Hello,
To update free plugins just click on update link from your Dashboard (Plugins > Installed Plugins).
To update premium plugins, connect to your server using FTP. Copy extracted plugins folders into wp-content/plugins/ . The latest versions of plugins you can find here.
Regards
Hello, and thank you, but I still have specific questions. We have had many issues with the site breaking or not functioning properly, and we are wondering if updating the plugins from 8theme will help. In specific:
1. Are we supposed to be updating plugins from 8theme?
2. If yes, then how do we know when updates are available? Do you have a system in place for notifying us?
Thank you, Erin
Hello,
You need to have the latest versions of required plugins, to proper work of your site: https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ Appropriate version of woocommerce plugin you may find in changelog on ThemeForest http://prntscr.com/gncxit
We do not have a special notification system, but you may see a notice about an available update in your Plugins section.
Regards
