Plugins update failing continuously - by Chanell Steyn

Hi there. I have tried multiple times to update the Quform plugin but it keeps failing. Even the automatic update fails. I have also received the notification for the latest theme update, but it hasn’t prompted on the WP admin panel to update yet. Maybe you could check that too please?

Hello,

You are using the latest version of XStore core and Xstore theme.
To update Quform plugin try to disable it and then go to XStore > Plugin installer > press update and activate.

Hi there. Thanks for your response. I’ve tried your recommendation, but still not updating. Is it because it’s a premium plugin, which I have not purchased?

Hello,

No, you don’t need to purchase bundled plugins. This plugin has some glitches with the auto-updates because of the plugin code. Go to Plugins > deactivate and remove plugin and then go to XStore > Plugin Installer > install it again. You’ll get the updated version.

Actually, do you use it? If you don’t create any forms using this plugin then there is no need to keep it enabled because every additional plugin slows down the site. Don’t keep enabled 2 page builders if you don’t use them both etc. So, disable all the plugins that you don’t really use.
